So I am clearly in love with new jewelry design house Shourouk! I am loving there neon accents & the crystal detailing. Plus after 3 years of Mawi love their prices are looking pretty good too. Must have the earrings at all costs.
Is that Matthew Williamson clutch not the cutest thing ever? It embodies so many of my favorite styles...Moroccan, pom poms, neon, knit, etc...
Not sure what it making me feel as though I can't live without this Prabal Gurung blouse...but I am lusting all over it. With black skinnies & my Prada patent leather booties & a white fur vest?? Needs to happen!!!
Thank goodness for the maxi! That is all I have to say. Comfortable, stylish, easy to wear, looks good with anything & everything...probably my personal favorite trend. Currently loving a leopard pring persuasion from Zara, but this bright orange is making me feel all warm inside. Can I please put this on with a white tank & have a cocktail of the patio at the Breakers? Please? Thanks.

CONGRATS!!!

Congratulations to my oldest & dearest bff Cassie Marie & her yummy bf on their engagement!

The New & The Old

Loving my new shoes from Zara. Fulfilled my need for some snakeskin in my life & of course I love a good tassel. Mom, being the interior designer that she is, was so thrilled about the tassel...it was ridiculous.
Also loving this yummy little jacket I picked up in Greensboro at Designer Archives for $12. Yes, I know. It is wool, angora, & cashmere. So soft & warm...the poof sleeves make me happy.

New Goodies

So anytime a large box arrives from Antik Batik I get fashion goose bumps. My 2 favorites are above & both sold the day after their arrival...thank god the vest went to mama bear so I have access to it. It is amaze. Multi colored fox & rabbit fur never hurt a girl. I wish the photo of the robe coat was more clear because the colors are insane & so perfect for fall. Red, burgundy, tan, black, & cream....rabbit fur...kimono style sleeves...I die.

A Night At The Museum

Caught Kate in an unexpected fashion moment...first off, the Camilla maxi skirt is insane standing still so even all the more so in full movement. Our bluegrassginger opted for this look for the annual Best Dressed soiree...American Apparel nude body suit (backless), Camilla watercolor maxi skirt, vintage cream & gold belt, & a 3 stone vintage cocktail necklace. You would have never guessed she came to town without options, but I have learned that usually gives way to a flawless ensemble.

Late night we found ourselves at 21c Hotel & Museum which more than once has turned into a mini photoshoot...some of the eve's photos below. Love strolling through the modern interactive museum, chapagne in hand...

NYC

Julia & I headed to New York a few weeks ago...the start of fall there is so gorgeous. We walked about 10 miles everyday! I love when the weather there is perfect for walking aimlessly. We were lucky to get on a direct flight so after arriving at 9am there really wasn't much question about what to do...mimosas? That's exactly what happened & 5 hours later (at a tiny cafe where I don't think they are used to people kicking it for so long) we headed out to meet friends with a happy little buzz. The first photo is documentation about halfway through...
Never, EVER, do we plan a trip to the city without being there for a Sunday...favorite day. Mostly because brunch might be my favorite thing ever, but the Upper West Side flea market (fur lady always get paid a visit) adds to the Sunday love too. Met Edgar & Brandon for brunch at Cafe LaLo, flea market next, & then cut throught the park to head to Barneys for some men's shoe shopping. It was a dirty good day.
Got to see my love Lauren too...Miss yall!!!

Fancy Free!

Julia & I have played around with the idea of starting an Ebay Store as a means to clean house & make room for new! Well...the time has come. Yesterday Fancy Free, Loving the Old & New made its debut to the cyber world. We have created a vintage section in our boutique several times & everything just goes so quickly! So now we are permanantly seperating the 2 in order to have a stronger focus on our love of vintage goodies. Not all items will be vintage...the old & the new includes newer, current designer pieces that we are just ready to move on from. As sad as it is to see some of these items go to someone else...we have to! The closets at both of our places have reached max capacity! We hope anyone who nabs one of our beloved items will treasure it the way we always have! Basic information is posted about each item, but there is a story to everything so if you need/want more details just let us know! Visit the link below to shop Fancy Free! New items will be posted weekly....stay tuned...

Also...whoever gets the Oscar De La Renta dress...treat it like gold! It is amaze!

Ports 1961

Ports 1961 Spring 2011
Really into it.

???

What is this? I need it. I saved this photo a few weeks back during a night or internet browsing randomness & cannot locate it anywhere! Designer? Price? Where to buy? Materials? I need details...so the search continues.

OH OSCAR!

Oscar De La Renta Spring 2011

1. Madly in love with the mustard tone with black lace...feeling like those earrings are of an emerald persuasion which is definitely a must in this color combo. Need to re-create this look in a more casual way for my life.
2. Lace on lace on lace...texturizing at its finest. The silouhette of the dress is one of my all time favorites. Needing some of this black & white lace mix in my world.

Note: Huge hair is fabulous.

sequins+stripes+plaid+aztec=dirty good

Ashish. Seriosuly? Speaking to me in such a good way right now. Let's see...tartan sequin jacket with wool fringing, green & grey sequin stripe top. tartan plaid sequin shift dress with fringing, geometric sequin tank dress, checked sequin crop top, geometric sequin tee...yes yes yes yes yes & yes, pretty please. I need ALL of the above. Really appreciate the zipper back detailing & definitely loooove the fact the back view is adorned just as much as the front. So special. Going to really try and make the jacket and stripe tee happen soon. Tee paired with high waited flares & green YSL tributes needs to happen asap. Jacket with everything, everyday.
